IND vs SL, 3rd T2OI: Kohli 1 Run Away From Completing 11000 International Runs As Skipper
Kohli is just one run way from completing 11,000 international runs as captain.
Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli who is in a habit of re-writing most of the records whenever he comes to bat, will be on the cusp of yet another major batting milestone when he comes out to bat against Sri Lanka in the third T2OI at Pune.
He is just one run way from completing 11,000 international runs as captain. If Kohli opens his account in Pune in 3rd match of the series against Sri Lanka, he will become the sixth international skipper to reach the mark and the second Indian after Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
After overtaking Rohit Sharma as the leading run-getter in T20 internationals in the 2nd match of the series in Indore, Kohli is on cusp of joining another elite lite.
The Indian captain, who chipped in with a quick-fire 30 in India's thumping win against Sri Lanka in Pune would be looking at his team to end the 3-match series on a high and maintain their unbeaten streak over Sri Lanka in T2OI series.
