A stupendous bowling performance by India restricted Sri Lanka to a below par 142-9 in their allotted 20 overs in the second T20 international at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Sri Lanka got off to a breezy start in the first five overs with openers Fernando and Gunathilka notching up a healthy stand. Washington Sundar dent the opening blow to Sri Lanka after scalping opener Avishka Fernando. Seamer Navdeep Saini produced a terrific yorker to clean bowl Danushka Gunathilaka. Kusal Perera then stepped up the ante with a couple of lusty blows to register a fiery 34 run knock. His stint at the crease came to an end when Kuldeep Yadav outfoxed him with a beautiful leg spin to have him caught by Dhawan at long on.Saini struck again dismissing Bhanuka Rajapaksa cheaply. Bumrah then produced a beauty to clean bowl Dasun Shanaka. Shardul Thakur then polished off the tale to get rid of Dhananjaya de Silva and Isuru Udana in a single over. Wanindu Hasaranga finished off the innings with a flourish belting Bumrah for three boundaries in the last over.
