IND vs NZ, World Cup 2019 Semis: Kohli feels whichever team handles pressure better will emerge winner

When confronted about the toss and asked how important it will be to win the toss, the Indian skipper said, “We are not worried about the toss, whatever happens, we are prepared.

A day ahead of India’s semifinal clash against New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2019, Virat Kohli addressing a regulation press conference said that the Men in Blue are not thinking too much about tomorrow's semis as it might lead to unnecessary mental pressure in the team On being asked how he feels about playing the semifinal with players who were also played when he led India to the ICC Under-19 World Cup victory, Kohli said he never thought this would happen someday. He said, “A lot of players from that World Cup from our batch, from their batch, from other teams as well, made it to their national teams & are still playing. I think it is a really nice memory. Neither me nor him could have ever anticipated that one day this will happen.” When confronted about the toss and asked how important it will be to win the toss, the Indian skipper said, “We are not worried about the toss, whatever happens, we are prepared. For the Indian team, there is pressure and opportunity in every game. We are always ready to handle it but a world cup semifinal is different.” The Indian skipper added a lighter moment in the press conference by jokingly saying that the team would never lack a bowler as he could always bowl and be quite lethal at it. Responding to a question on which team has a better chance to win, the Indian captain said, whichever team is more brave in being calculative, that team stands a better chance to win so we understand that combination,we've made it to a lot of knockout games&finals and it's up to both to bring their A game.Whoever handles pressure better will come out on top
