IND Vs NZ: Virat Kohli Says, He Has 'Happy Memories' Playing At Wankhede Ahead Of 2nd Test
"I really enjoyed playing at the Wankhede. That’s a ground that I have happy memories at," said Kohli before the Mumbai Test.
IND vs NZ: After a nail-biting Test match, India is ready to face the Kiwi challenge in the second Test that is to be played in Mumbai on Friday. Captain Virat Kohli will be back in the Indian side after resting from the T20I series and the first Test.
Addressing a virtual press conference ahead of the second Test, Virat Kohli said that he enjoyed playing at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Indian captain has a hundred against his name at the Wankhede which he scored while playing an ODI in 2017.
"I really enjoyed playing at the Wankhede. That’s a ground that I have happy memories at. More than that it is the impact you leave with the kind of innings you play," said Kohli during the press conference.
"So, that was the focus in past and even today. I wanna give my best for the team," he added.

It is all about putting in hard hards, working hard, staying very balance, staying in a space where you know that you are progressing in the right direction," Kohli said in the press conference.
Kohli has scored 265 runs in 5 innings played at the Wankhede with an average of 65 runs. Kohli would be itching to get out there and improve on his record at Wankhede.
