Ind Vs NZ: Kiwi Players Get A Day's Rest Between T20 WC Final & T20I Series, Netizens Complain
IND Vs NZ T20I Series: Technically, the Kiwis just got one day's rest before they take the ground to play the first of the three T20I matches in Jaipur on Wednesday.
IND Vs NZ: New Zealand played the T20 World Cup Final on the night of 14 November 2021 in Dubai. Without a rest-day, they travelled to India on 15th November and landed in Jaipur on the same day. After a practice session on 16th, the Kiwis will come out to play the T20I series versus India on 17th November 2021.
Technically, the Kiwis just got one day's rest before they take the ground to play the first of the three T20I matches in Jaipur on Wednesday.
Netizens were complaining about the short gap between NZ's matches. Cricketer's mental and physical well-being is at the center of these complaints. A user wrote, "How does one expect New Zealand to be mentally prepared for the India series after such a short gap between the #T20WorldCupFinal and the #INDvNZ series?"

New Zealand will play a three-match T20I series against India starting from November 17 in Jaipur. The next couple of T20Is would be played on Friday and Sunday in Ranchi and Kolkata.

Similar complaints were made about players being 'fatigued' due to 'excessive cricket' after India's T20 WC loss against Pakistan.
New Zealand captain, Kane Williamson will miss out on the action from the T20I series against India, to prioritise "preparing for the Test series starting on November 25 in Kanpur". The New Zealand Cricket announced this in a statement.
