Mushfiqur Rahim is closing in on surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's record for the most runs in India vs Bangladesh Test matches. The Bangladeshi batter has scored 604 runs in 15 innings across 8 Tests, while Sachin tops the list with 820 runs in 9 innings from 7 matches, at an outstanding average of 136.66.
To overtake Sachin, Mushfiqur needs 217 more runs in the upcoming IND vs BAN Test series. While Sachin has five centuries in these encounters, Mushfiqur has recorded two tons in IND vs BAN Test history.
ICC Hall of Famer Rahul Dravid holds the third spot on the list with 560 runs in five matches, including three centuries. Cheteshwar Pujara is fourth, having scored 468 runs in five Tests, while Virat Kohli sits at fifth with 437 runs in six games.
