IND vs AUS WTC Final: India's talented youngster KS Bharat, who is keeping for the Indian cricket team for the first time in England, completed a remarkable catch behind the stumps to get rid of set opener David Warner for 43 in the penultimate over of IND vs AUS WTC Final 2023 Day 1's Lunch at the Oval Stadium in London. Just at the stroke of Day 1's Lunch, Warner ended up edging Shardul's Thakur delivery and the ball went behind the stumps where keeper Bharat made a big dive, taking a brilliant catch to end the Aussie opener's stay at the crease. Senior Aussie opener David Warner struggled against the new ball initially but started to dominate the bowlers after putting in some hard work. He was about to attain a well-deserved fifty but sadly gave away his wicket at the stroke of lunch.

KS Bharat made his Test debut for India against Australia in Nagpur, replacing injured Rishabh Pant in India XI. Shrikar Bharat is the 305th player to play Test cricket for India. For a long time, Bharat was part of the Indian test team as a reserve wicketkeeper before finally making his Test debut in IND vs AUS Nagpur Test of the Border-Gavaskar Test series.
