Team India will be hoping for his swift recovery, as Rahul has been a major contributor in IND vs AUS Test series, amassing 235 runs across six innings at an average of 47, including two half-centuries.

Rahul's performances have been a key highlight for India. In IND vs AUS Test series opener at Perth, he scored a brilliant 77, forming a 201-run opening stand with Yashasvi Jaiswal in the absence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma. While the 2nd Test in Adelaide saw a dip in form, Rahul bounced back with a crucial 84 in the third Test in Brisbane.

The impressive partnership between KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the opening Test earned them a spot together at the top of the order even after Rohit Sharma returned for the second Test in Adelaide.

While the duo struggled to replicate their success in Adelaide, Rahul solidified his position as an opener with a match-saving knock of 84 runs in the first innings of the third Test in Brisbane.
