The high octane and much anticipated Test series for the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will get underway with the 1st Test to be played at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide from December 17. The opening encounter of the Test series at Adelaide Oval will be a historic match for the Indian team as the game will be sub continent team's first away Pink Ball Test encounter. Both the teams will engage in an intense battle in red ball cricket after sharing the honours in the white ball leg of the all-format tour.While Australia beat India 2-1 in the ODI series, the 'Men In Blue' returned the favour to the 'Kangaroos' handing them a 2-1 defeat in the T20I series.
