WTC 2023-25 Points Table: Pakistan Right At The Bottom After Innings Defeat In Multan

WTC 2023-25 Points Table: Pakistan find themselves right at the bottom of the ICC WTC 2023-25 points table following their innings and 47 runs-defeat to Pakistan in Multan.

WTC 2023-25 Points Table: There has been movement again in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 points table following Pakistan's innings defeat to England in the first of the three-match series in Multan. Captan Shan Masood may have responded to criticism of his poor form with a hundred with the bat but his losing streak as a skipper continues as he has now lost each of his first six Tests in a row as the skipper.

The defeat has more or less sealed the fate that Pakistan will not be qualifying for the WTC Final next year. The defeat has meant further sliding down the table and they now find themselves at the bottom of the 9-team table with only 2 wins from 8 matches and a defeat in each of their remaining six matches.

The matches marked Pakistan's sixth successive Test defeat and their seventh loss in last 11 matches. Even though the second Test will begin on October 15 in Multan, the Men in Green would look to regroup and look to address their long term plans as they are already out of contention for a place in the final in ongoing cycle of the WTC.

As far as England are concerned, they are sitting at the fifth place on the table. They have played 17 matches so far in this cycle and have won 9 while losing 7 of them. One match has ended in a draw.
