ICC T20 World Cup: India To Begin T20 WC Campaign Against Pakistan At MCG On October 23
ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Indian team has been placed in Group B along with Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the winners of the remaining two qualifiers. Check out India's Full Schedule below.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule for the T20 World Cup 2022, which is set to be played in Australia from October 16 to November 13, 2022.
India and Pakistan will come face to face with each other yet again in the Group stage of the tournament for a second consecutive time. Both teams will face each other on October 23, 2022. This will be the tournament's first match for both Asian countries. India has a chance to avenge the 2021 T20 World Cup defeat.
The New Zealand team will face Australia in the first match of Super 12 on 22 October. Before this, the qualifying matches start from October 16.
Here Is India's Schedule For T20 WC Matches:
- 23 October - India vs Pakistan at Melbourne (MCG)
- 27 October - India vs Qualifying Team at Sydney (SCG)
- 30 October - India vs South Africa at Perth (WACA)
- November 2 - India v Bangladesh at Adelaide Oval
- 6 November - India vs Qualifying Team - Melbourne (MCG)

Indian team has been placed in Group B along with Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the winners of the remaining two qualifier rounds.
On the other hand, in Group A, Australia, New Zealand, England, Afghanistan, and the winners of the remaining two qualifier rounds are placed.
Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Geelong, Hobart and Perth will be the seven venues for the World Cup 2022.
The two semi-final matches will be played on 9 and 10 November at the Sydney and Adelaide Oval grounds. The final will be played on 13 November at the historic MCG in Melbourne.
