ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year: 2024 World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma named the captain while the Man of the Match award winner from the finals, Virat Kohli, finds no place.

ICC Men’s T20I Team of the Year 2024: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Men's T20I Team of the Year 2024 on January 25 (Saturday). Rohit Sharma has been named the captain of the team which also features three more Indian players. Notably, Rohit captained India to their second T20I World Cup victory in the 2024 ICC T20I World Cup in USA and the West Indies. Rohit was also the top scorer for India in the ICC event, playing a key role in ending the Men in Blue's 11-year wait for an ICC trophy.
Under Rohit Sharma’s leadership, India won all 8 T20Is played in the T20I World Cup 2024, and he became the first captain in history to secure the T20 World Cup with a perfect 100% win record.
Rohit leads a squad that includes three other Indians – Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Arshdeep Singh.
Bumrah, who won the Player of the Tournament award, was crucial for India in the entire tournament as he bagged 15 wickets. But his best came in the World Cup final, where he took impressive figures of 2 for 18 in 4 overs against South Africa, playing a crucial role in India's victory from a situation that had seemed unlikely.
Arshdeep, meanwhile, ended the 2024 T20 World Cup as one of the joint-leading wicket-takers, claiming 17 wickets.
Hardik, in 2024, featured in 17 matches, amassing 352 runs and taking 16 wickets.
