Indian Cricket Team Head coach Gautam Gambhir has come out publicly to clear the air off the rumours that there is an ongoing rift between him and Indian team captain — Rohit Sharma.
The statemant was released during the press conference for the Sydney Test one day prior to it's commencement, as Gambhir calls his bond with him 'fine' and states that every 'individual want to give their best'.
Some people suspected that Rohit Sharma might be dropped, but Gautam Gambhir'sstatement is clearly concerned with deciding the Playing XI after seeing the pitch.
Therefore, nothing can be said about the appearance of Rohit Sharma in the Sydney Test.

I think the debates between a player and a coach should remain between them - conversations should be restricted to the dressing room. Everything is fine with Rohit and we will announce that (Playing 11) tomorrow, after seeing the pitch. We had just one conversation in our dressing room - how we will win the next test, as it is important for us," said Gautam Gambhir during the press conference.
