Gambhir Hails Dhoni's Decision Of Serving With Territorial Army's Parachute Regiment in Kashmir

After India's shocking exit from the 2019 ICC World Cup, MS Dhoni took a sabbatical from the sport and joined the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army to serve the nation.

It is no hidden secret that Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni have been at loggerheads over certain issues while sharing the Indian dressing room. However, the former Indian team mates seem to be in consensus over one critical national issue, which is their love and admiration for the Armed Forces. Speaking as one of the panelist at ABP News Kargil Shikhar Sammelan, Gautam Gambhir lauded his former skipper and team mate Mahendra Singh Dhoni for donning the olive greens and serving with the Parachute regiment of the Territorial Army. The former Indian cricketer added that Dhoni's decision was a historic one and would serve as inspiration to youth of the nation to join the Army. Gambhir said Dhoni's decision shows his dedication and commitment towards the Armed Forces. Former Indian World Cup winning skipper Kapil Dev, who was also among the panelist at the ABP News Kargil Shikhar Sammelan, was in agreement with Gambhir's appreciation of Dhoni. Dev said that what Dhoni's decision to serve with his regiment is a bold step and will motivate young citizens of the nation.
