Fakhr Zaman is amongst the most destructive batsman ever produced by Pakistan, and the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy winner can make his eagarly-awaited return to the national side inspite of receiving an axe from the white-ball set-up in the aftermath of his controversial tweet.

Newly-appointed white-ball coach of Pakistan, Aqib Javed, who has been credited for his immediate impact on the side, has created a huge buzz with his latest statement.

Coming to the white-ball set-up, the head coach is ready to recall Fakhar Zaman, and stated that 'fitness' is the main concern behind his non-selection for now.

"Fakhar is a match-winner, he has performed for Pakistan for many years. He was having some fitness problems. We are in communication with Fakhar. Whenever he gets fit, the selection committee will definitely consider him for selection and you’ll see him (back playing) in the future," said Aqib Javed.

Aqib Javed Aims At Establishing A Settled ODI Side Ahead Of Champions Trophy

The Pakistan white-ball coach has laid heavy emphasis on having a stable and settled ODI side, as the nation is set to defend it's ICC Champions Trophy crown on home soil next year. The former cricketer added that T20I side will see a series of changes, as ODI stands utmost priority for now.

"Our main focus at the moment is on ODI cricket ahead of the Champions Trophy. You'll see a settled team in this format. You'll see changes in the T20I format. We plan to give new players chances in the Zimbabwe series. It is a message and opportunity to the new players to take the chances they've been given. If you don't give new players chances, you'll never get the opportunity to improve your bench strength," said the 1992 World Cup winer.
