Often players are seen, coming on the field or after scoring centuries, looking up at the sky to pray. Everyone has their own faith and beliefs behind it. Everyone believes in God in their own way and their different forms However, today we will tell you of something that very few cricket fans know of. We are going to tell about a few cricketers who changed their religion for either love or their own personal reasons. Now let's know of these cricketers who changed their religion

Suraj Randiv: Virender Sehwag could rarely forget Sri Lankan cricketer Suraj Randiv. Because as the story goes Viru missed out on his century because of Suraj Ranadives no-ball. Sehwag was unbeaten on 99 at the time and was still going strong. Meanwhile, only a run was needed for the Indian team to win the match. As he bowled a no-ball Sehwag couldn't complete his century. Suraj Randiv was previously named Mohammed Masruk Suraj. But for some reason changed his religion to Buddhism. He's now known as Suraj Randiv instead of Mohammed Suraj.

Mohammad Yusuf: Joseph Yohana was born to a Christian couple. But in 2005-2006, he decided to convert to Islam and further on changed his name to Mohammad Yusuf. However, his family initially objected to him doing so. But later on they agreed. After converting from Christianity to Islam, he started playing cricket with a beard added to his appearance.  Former cricketer Mohammad Yusuf has been one of the most legendary batsmen to arise from the Pakistani cricket team. He played 90 Tests, 288 ODIs and 3 T20Is for his home team.

A.G. Kripal Singh: The Indian cricketer AG Kripal Singh's name has also on added to the list of converted cricketers. He played 14 Tests in the blue jersey. And then former Indian cricketer AG Kripal Singh too changed his religion. Kripal was priory born in a Sikh family. But later on converted to Christianity to get married. He too later on changed his name to Arnold George.
