Off-spinner Nathan Lyon's 5-wicket haul reduced Pakistan to 229-8 in their second innings at dinner break on Day 4 of the Adelaide Test

Hosts Australia closed in on yet another massive win over Pakistan after they had the visitors eight wickets down in their second innings at Tea on Day 4 of the ongoing Day Night Test at the Adelaide Oval .
At dinner the break on Day 4, Pakistan were 229-8 with Mohammad Rizwan batting on 40 and Mohammad Abbas giving him company at the crease.
Off-spinner Nathan Lyon was the chief tormentor for Pakistan as the off-spinner took a stellar five wicket haul by casting a web around the Pakistani middle and lower order batting. Lyon 5-fer also bought up his 50th Test wicket against Pakistan.
Lyon accounted for Asad Shafiq after he completed a well compiled half ton. Just as wicket-keeper batsman Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan were looking to get Pakistan back into the game, Lyon dismissed Ahmed for 27. The off spinner struck with two quick blows by scalping Yasir Shah and Shaheen Afridi in quick succesion. Resuming on their overnight score of 39-3, opener Shan Masood and Ashad Shafiq registered a gritty half century stand to help the visitors bail out of trouble. However, off spinner Nathan Lyon ended the resistance by scalping Masood for 68.Nathan Lyon has just picked up his first five-wicket haul against Pakistan!
