Ajinkya Rahane Spends His First Day Of Quarantine In Chennai Dancing With Daughter

A video was shared by Ajinkya Rahane’s wife Radhika of the batsman having fun and dancing with his daughter. He is currently in the compulsory quarantine before the Chennai Test.

Team India’s stand-in captain for the Australia series Ajinkya Rahane was enjoying with his daughter on his first day in institutional quarantine before the start of the England series. A video of Rahane dancing with his daughter was shared by his wife on Instagram. Rahane’s wife, Radhika poste this video and wrote: ‘My entertainment in quarantine.’ The video was taken at a hotel in Chennai.

The first Test match is to be played in Chennai. Rahane, who was the captain of India’s team in Australia is back to his role of vice-captain after the return of Virat Kohli in the side. Along with Rahane, the rest of the Indian team have also arrived in Chennai. The visiting England team has also arrived in Chennai before the start of the first Test match.

Rahane had taken India to a historic Test victory earlier this month. It was India’s second series win on Australian soil. Rahane would be looking to continue the same form which he had in Brisbane. As India are back from a big series win against Australia, England too, have just returned from a successful 2-0 Test win against Sri Lanka.

Chennai’s Chidambaram stadium would be hosting the first two Test matches beginning from February 5.
