3 Pakistan Players Who Could Be Dropped From Tests After Losing To Bangladesh. Is Captain Shan Masood On This List?
PAK vs BAN Tests: Here are 3 Pakistan players who could be dropped from the Test squad following the hosts' defeat to Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.
PAK vs BAN Tests: It's definitely not the best of days for Pakistan cricket. Not long after their shocking group-stage exit from the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, the Men in Green are on the verge of losing a Test series to Bangladesh for the first time at their own home surface. The hosts had already lost the series opener in Rawalpindi and are heading towards another loss in the second match being played at the same venue.
Meanwhile, there were reports which suggested a possible between players in the Pakistan camp. And if Pakistan end up losing this series 0-2, it could cost several places a place in the Pakistan side, especially after allegations of a heated physical alteracation between Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shan Masood in the dressing room.
Here is a look at 3 Pakistan players who can be dropped from Tests if they lose to Bangladesh.

1. Shaheen Shah Afridi
Pakistan's left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has already kind of faced the axe. He is not part of the Playing 11 of the ongoing 2nd Test match and if there is an investigation into the reports claiming of a physical fight between him and the captain, he could stay out of the Pakistan test setup for a while. Shaheen had scalped 2 wickets in the first Test.
2. Shan Masood
Even the Pakistan captain Shan Masood happens to be in this list. The responsibility of leading the team on and off the field lies firmly with the captain and if media reports suggesting that there was a fight between the Pakistan test skipper and Shaheen are proved to be true, the middle-order batter could remain out until the Pakistan team management feels that differences between the two are solved and won't affect the team's performance on the field.

3. Abdullah Shafique
Meanwhile, Pakistan opener Abdullah Shafique can also face an exit from the Pakistan Test team. The reason is his form. While in the first, the 24-year-old managed scores of 2 and 37, in the second Test, he could only muster 3 runs, getting out for a duck in the second innings.
