New Delhi: The world of sports has never been the same with the introduction of Internet and social networking websites. Who doesn’t want a widespread global fan base and what better way to achieve that than with the internet? But things don’t go the swiftly all the time as was the case with Pakistan’s dubbed ‘next big thing’ Umar Akmal who got trolled on Twitter for posting a picture of him standing next to a Bentley.
Akmal who time and again split the opinion about his position in the Pakistani national team currently has been spending time in England, working hard on his fitness.
He has been sharing videos of him training hard and on July 13 posted a picture standing next to a silver Bentley with the caption: "Enjoying London after hard work".
However, the post didn't get the positive reaction he would have hoped for.Enjoying London after hard work pic.twitter.com/N6U05mgAse

Earlier in May, Akmal had failed two consecutive fitness tests to make place in the Pakistani Squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 which eventually Pakistan went on to win. The 27 year old’s career suffered another major setback after he was omitted from Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) list of players that received national contracts. He was the highest-profile casualty in the new contract list for Pakistan that has seen several retirements in the past 12 months, including of legendary veterans Younis Khan and captain Misbah-ul-Haq.Taxi driver ban geyaa kyaa...
