After meeting the wrestlers, the Congress leader interacted with the reporters and said, "I don't have any expectations from the PM, because if he is worried about these wrestlers, then why has he not talked to them or met them yet. Congress MP Deepender Hooda also met with the wrestlers and said, "There are such grave allegations against Brij Bhushan, who calls himself a Bahubali. He has a number of cases of crime on his head and is a history-sheeter. He should also be arrested immediately." WFI chief while talking to reporters about the allegations said, "Resignation is not a big deal but I am not a criminal. If I resign, it will mean that I have accepted their (wrestlers') allegations. Singh then thanked Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and said, "Akhilesh Yadav knows me from childhood. He knows what kind of a person I am and this is the reason he is supporting me.
