The chief minister has also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each for those injured. Governor La Ganesan condoled the deaths and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also mourned the loss of lives in the incident. (Image: PTI)
