'Your Turn To Go To Jail': Navneet Rana Accuses Shiv Sena Leader Of Threatening Post Uproar Over Anil Deshmukh's Sacking

Earlier today, there was a lot of uproar in the Lok Sabha where several MPs, including BJP, strongly attacked the Maharashtra government and raised questions on Shiv Sena and NCP after Parambir Singh's letter.

Amid the heated uproar in the Lok Sabha today over the current political situation in Maharashtra, the independent MP from Amravati Navneet Kaur Rana has accused Shiv Sena leader Arvind Sawant of threatening her of sending her to jail.

In a major revelation, Navneet Rana said, "Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant has threatened me that now it your turn, you will go to jail."

According to the sources, Navneet said that Sawant's remarks came after she demanded narco test of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and former Police Commissioner Parambir Singh in connection with the letter levelling serious extortion charges against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

"On what basis was a man suspended for 16 years and jailed, reinstated? When there was BJP govt, Uddhav Thackeray himself had called up Devendra Fadnavis for reinstating Sachin Waze, Fadnavis had refused. When the Thackeray government came, they reinstated him. All this needs to be investigated properly," Independent MP Navneet Ravi Rana said.

The lawmakers demanded the immediate ouster of Deshmukh from the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra.

The former Mumbai police Commissioner Param Bir Singh claimed Deshmukh wanted officers to collect Rs 100 crore monthly from bars and hotels in Mumbai. In a letter written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Singh alleged that state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has been involved in several 'malpractices' including connection with arrested cop Sachin Vaze.
