After Donald Trump, Melania Trump, and their son Barron were diagnosed with Covid-19 in October, Trump Jr, 42, is the latest in the family to have tested positive.
The outgoing President had spent three days at the Walter Reed military hospital where he was reportedly treated with certain experimental drugs while Melania Trump stayed at the White House to recover.
Donald Trump Jr is asymptomatic and knew of his diagnosis early this week, according to the spokesperson.
The news was reported hours after Andrew Giuliani, a special assistant to President Trump and the son of Rudy Giuliani, had announced that he had tested positive for coronavirus.
The development comes in as the Trump administration continues to face criticism for mi-handling the Covid-19 crisis in the country.
The coronavirus has killed more than 253,000 Americans and sickened more than 11.7 million. More than 470,000 Americans are expected to succumb to the virus by March 1, 2021, according to a predictive model from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.
