Viral Video Shocks World As Man Forces 6-Yr-Old Son To Run Non-Stop For Being 'Fat' Days Before His Death

The video depicted Christopher Gregor coercing his son, Corey Micciolo, onto the treadmill and then escalating the difficulty settings, even after the child fell multiple times.

Christopher Gregor, a 31-year-old father from New Jersey, is currently on trial for the alleged murder of his six-year-old son, Corey Micciolo, in 2021. Shocking video evidence presented in court showed Gregor compelling his son to run on a treadmill at high speed and incline, as reported by the New York Post.

The disturbing footage captures Gregor and Corey entering the Atlantic Heights Clubhouse fitness centre on March 20, 2021. The video depicted Gregor coercing Corey onto the treadmill and then escalating the difficulty settings, even after the child fell multiple times.

The incident reportedly arose from Gregor’s concerns about Corey’s weight, leading to this extreme measure. If convicted, Gregor faces life imprisonment.

The video also shows Corey’s mother, Bre Micciolo, becoming tearful while watching the distressing video evidence being presented in the court trial.

Bre Micciolo had previously reported her son’s injuries to child protective services just days before his death, as per a report by the US Sun. She further urged Gregor to take Corey to a doctor on April 1, during which Corey disclosed the ordeal of being forced to run on the treadmill by his father.

Following this, Gregor rushed Corey to the hospital on a subsequent day due to concerning symptoms, including stumbling, slurred speech, nausea, and shortness of breath.

An initial autopsy attributed Corey’s death to blunt force injuries, cardiac and liver contusions, acute inflammation, and sepsis. Gregor was subsequently arrested in July 2021 on child neglect charges after investigators reviewed surveillance footage from the fitness centre.

According to the report, a forensic pathologist determined Corey’s death to be a homicide, citing evidence of chronic abuse, including blunt impact injuries to the chest and abdomen, a heart laceration, pulmonary contusion, and liver damage.

Gregor was arrested on March 9, 2022, for his son’s death and is currently detained in the Ocean City Jail without bond.
