Iran-Israel 'Ceasefire' Lasts Only 2.5 Hours

Iran allegedly breaks ceasefire with missile attacks on Israel. In response, Israel launches strikes on Tehran targets. Tensions rise as both sides exchange accusations and prepare for escalation.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has announced that he has directed the Israel Defense Forces to carry out powerful strikes on key regime targets in central Tehran, following what he described as Iran’s breach of the ceasefire.

So far, Iran has not confirmed any such attack. Earlier, Iran's foreign minister stated that Iranian strikes would cease only if Israel also halted its attacks.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will share any significant updates or statements from either side as they emerge.

Meanwhile, Iranian state television reports that no missile attacks were launched towards Israel after the ceasefire took effect.

"In light of the severe violation of the ceasefire carried out by the Iranian regime, we will respond with force," said Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir during a current assessment of the situation.
