New Delhi: Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter to rant against the microblogging app, and in response to another tweet, wrote about Facebook as well. ALSO READ | United States And Its Allies Must Employ “More Creative And Assertive Ways” To Tackle ‘Frankenstein’ China: Mike Pompeo Elon Musk who was one of the 130 high-profile Twitter users whose account was hacked in the massive cryptocurrency scam. The hack also remains to be unprecedented in terms of the scale of fraud and the way so many popular profiles were compromised in a single attack. His first tweet was against Twitter itself. Then when a user replied "much better than Facebook though", Musk responded: "Facebook? Haven't heard that name in years". The Tesla CEO's Twitter account was among the first profiles to be compromised when a tweet was posted on his account, promising to double any payments sent to a Bitcoin address. He has been at the receiving end of similar incidents, however, because of fake profiles. Back in February, Musk had criticised Twitter for the increase in trolling networks and scams that are carried out by fake bots. "The crypto scam level on Twitter is reaching new levels. This is not cool," Musk wrote. Responding to a user about what can be done about these attacks, he advised, "Report as soon as you see it. Troll/bot networks on Twitter are a *dire* problem for adversely affecting public discourse and ripping people off". This isn't the first time that the SpaceX founder has hit at Facebook. In the past, Musk and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg have had a rather public argument over the need to regulate the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In February, Musk replied to a tweet by actor Sacha Baron Cohen who had written, "Why do we let 1 man control the information seen by 2.5 billion people? Facebook needs to be regulated by governments, not ruled by an emperor!" The former had responded: "#DeleteFacebook It's lame". WATCH | Elon Musk might launch Neuralink's new product on Aug 28
