Denmark's richest man loses 3 children in Sri Lanka terror attacks
Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has declared a nationwide emergency from midnight on Monday. The island nation has alo imposed a mid time curfew with immediate effect following Sunday’s terror attack that killed 290 people and injured 400 others.
Copenhagen: Tragedy came calling upon Denmark's richest man Anders Holch Povlsen who lost three of his four children in the Easter Sunday attacks in Colombo, Sri Lanka. A spokesman for Povlsen's fashion firm informed the media about the deaths on Monday.
Danish media reported that Holch Povlsen was in the island nation with his family on vacation.
The spokesman refrained from giving out any further details.
The billionaire is the owner of fashion firm Bestseller, which includes brands like Vero Moda and Jack & Jones, and holds the maximum stake in online retailer Asos and a major chunk in Zalando.
Forbes says he owns more than 1 percent of all the land in Scotland.

A local outfit identified as the National Tawheed Jamath is suspected of plotting the explosions. Health Minister quoted by news agency PTI and the government spokesman, Rajitha Senaratne, also said that all suicide bombers involved in the blasts are believed to be Sri Lankan nationals.
According to a Reuters report, Sri Lanka police have found 87 bomb detonators at Colombo's main bus stand.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts, but police have so far arrested 24 people.
