'Covid Third Wave At Its Peak': 50% Of Vaccinated Adults In Britain Infected With Corona

Despite getting the corona vaccine in Britain, there are reports of people getting infected. A total of 87.2 percent of the infected people are those who had been vaccinated before.

Corona infection is wreaking havoc once again in Britain. The most surprising thing is that the cases of corona infection are among adults who have been vaccinated.

In this regard, Senior Virus Tracking Specialist, King's College London, UK, Prof. Tim Spector said the "third wave of the pandemic is at its peak in Britain". A total of 87.2 percent of the infected people are those who had already been vaccinated before.

On July 6, the virus was detected in 12,905 people who had been vaccinated. It is clear from this that out of the total number of corona positive cases found on July 6, 50 percent were those who had been vaccinated.

According to the estimates, this graph may increase further in the coming time. Professor Spector has also warned that there is still time to prevent the pandemic from becoming more effective.

Next 7 Days Are Important

According to South Tyneside Council's Director of Public Health Prof. Tom Hall, the infection has been confirmed among people who have been vaccinated against Corona in the third wave in Britain, and these cases are increasing rapidly. The next seven days are important in Britain. There is an appeal to the people to follow the corona restrictions to control the infection. Any negligence in the rules can worsen the situation.

At the same time, there has been a decline of 2.4 percent in symptomatic infections among British citizens who were vaccinated in Britain. The number of patients reduced from 20,973 on July 5, to 20487 on July 6. Experts say that in the days to come, the situation may become difficult as more than three thousand patients may have to be admitted to the hospital every day.
