Viral sach: The truth of Leh’s Magnetic Hill

New Delhi: Have you seen a car climbing on a slope even when you have killed the engine? A viral message says that at a location, a car climbs hills without any aid from the engine. On Srinagar-Leh highway, a magnetic hill is present. It is 11 thousand feet above sea level and 30 kilometres away from Leh. The message says the hill has magnetic power as the car start climbing the hill even if the engine is killed. The message says the car moves at 20 km per hour. In ABP News investigation, it got clear that it is an optical illusion. The image of hills and roads is formed in such a way that it seems the road is at a gradient. However, it is a slope. The car moves because of the slope. The message is false.
