UM Motorcycles Announces Pre-GST Price Cuts

The bikes will receive price cuts ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,600 with immediate effect

UM Motorcycles has announced pre-GST benefits for customers wishing to purchase its bikes. This is a good move considering GST will be applicable starting July 1st. UM Motorcycles currently have two motorcycles in its line-up – the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S. The price cut for the bikes will range from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,600 depending on the model and the state they are sold in.

UM Motorcycles Announces Pre-GST Price Cuts

For example, in Pune, the Renegade Sports S gets a price cut of Rs 4,199.01 while the Renegade Commando gets a price cut of Rs 5,684.29. With the price cut, the Renegade Sports S now retails at Rs 1,78,518 (ex-Pune) and the Renegade Commando is priced at Rs 1,84,397 (ex-Pune). 

UM Motorcycles Announces Pre-GST Price Cuts

UM Motorcycles is not the only bike manufacturer to pass on pre-GST benefits to the customer. Just a while back, Bajaj announced price cuts for its motorcycles.
