TVS introduces a refreshed TVS Star City Plus

TVS is celebrating the festive season by offering the TVS Star City+ with some design updates

TVS today has launched the TVS Star City+ with a new dual-tone colour scheme for the festive season. The new design cues include a striking ‘TVS’ chrome 3D label and a black grab rail. Commenting on the new offering, Aniruddha Haldar, VP Marketing, TVS Motor Company, said: “Award-winning TVS StaR City+ has always stood for style with substance, namely power and mileage of 86 kmpl together in an unbeatable package. The Star City+ is powered by a 110cc air-cooled motor that is mated to a four-speed gearbox, and churns out 8.4 PS of peak power at 7000rpm, with peak torque of 8.7 Nm offered at 5000rpm. The motor comes equipped with the company’s patented Ecothrust technology, improving fuel efficiency, which is 86 kmpl as claimed by the company. The Star City+ is equipped with Automatic Headlight On (AHO) and analogue cum digital display, consisting of an analogue speedometer and the digital display consisting of a service indicator, an econometer, fuel gauge and odometer. The crown-shaped visor on top of the headlight, the honeycomb-textured side panel grills, stainless steel muffler and black alloy wheels complete the design of this new variant.

The Star City+ comes with telescopic front shock absorbers and five-step adjustable rear shock absorbers to take care of unpaved roads and undulations. Available in three colours – Black red, Black blue and Red black, the dual-tone variant of the Star City+ is now available for Rs 50,534 (ex-Showroom, Delhi) at all TVS showrooms.
