Maruti Celerio CNG: The Celerio is also available with a CNG kit. It is available in two variants: Vxi and Vxi (O), priced at Rs 5.14 lakh and Rs 5.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively.
Maruti Celerio Tour H2: Maruti is also offering a taxi-specific variant of the Celerio, priced at Rs 4.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Celerio Tour H2 is based on the Lxi(O) variant, which means it gets basic safety features such as dual front airbags and ABS. Apart from this, since it’s made for commercial purposes, it comes fitted with a speed governor (set at 80kmph) to comply with Indian government’s revised rules which require all taxis to be fitted with this device, in the interest of road safety. Tiago Diesel: Unlike the Celerio, the Tiago is available with a diesel engine also. The diesel engine is a 1.05-litre three cylinder unit that makes 70PS/140Nm, coupled with a 5-speed MT. The Tiago diesel is available in nine variants which are priced from Rs 4.16 lakh to Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
