Royal Enfield Meteor 350 To Finally Launch On November 6: Here's What To Expect

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be available in three trims - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. As per the previously leaked documents, the bike will be coming with a standard 'Tripper Navigation' feature.

New Delhi: After a lot of delay the Chennai-based automaker Royal Enfield on Thursday said that it is going to launch the much-awaited Meteor 350 motorcycle on November 6. The Meteor was ready for launch even before the lockdown happened in India. The bike is a Thunderbird replacement and is based on a new platform and engine. The upcoming bike has even been spotted on the road few times amid testing. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be available in three trims - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. As per the previously leaked documents, the bike will be coming with a standard 'Tripper Navigation' feature. The available details suggest that it is a Bluetooth enabled navigation system for Royal Enfield bikes. In the instrument console the bigger pod will feature an analogue speedometer while the smaller pod gets a TFT colour display offering navigation details. The smaller unit will be called as a Tripper Navigation Unit. Digital LCD Screen will have Odometer, Tripmeter, Fuel Graph Bar and Service reminder. The bike features a much improved air-cooled 350 cc engine, just like Thunderbird and 350X and pumps 20.2 BHP and 27 NM of torque at peak. Moreover, there will also be a new transmission with smoother and lighter clutch action. The bike will have circular halogen headlamp, LED DRL, LED tail lamps, forward-set footpegs, raised handlebar, etc. The upcoming model is the direct replacement to the Thunderbird 350X motorcycle and is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The Meteor 350 will made available in seven body colours - Fireball Yellow, Fireball Red, Stellar Red Metallic, Stellar Black Matte, Stellar Blue Metallic, Supernova Brown, and Supernova Blue. The company is also developing a bigger 650 cc cruiser in order to step up in the market competing with Hyosung and Benelli.
