5 Dead, Several Injured In Terror Attack At Karachi Stock Exchange In Pakistan; All 4 Terrorists Neutralized

Five people including security guards and a sub-inspector have been killed in the counter operation.

Karachi stock exchange attack : A major terror attack took place at the high-secured Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi on Monday morning. As per initial inputs five people have been reported dead in the attack so far. As per an official statement of local police, all the four terrorists who barged into the stock exchange building, have been gunned down. Karachi is Pakistan's largest city, financial capital, and the nerve centre for Pakistan's banking and financial services. Reports suggest the terrorists wanted to carry out a 26/11-style attack (208 Mumbai terror attack) in a bid to hold hundreds working at the Karachi Stock Exchange hostage.  Pakistan, which is a breeding ground for terrorism, immediately made a fallacious attempt to point fingers at Afghanistan. Majeed Brigade, a unit of Balochistan Liberation Army also known as the Baloch Liberation Army  (BLA) has taken responsibility for the attack which is yet to probed. So far, five people including four security guards and a police sub-inspector, have been killed in the terror attack. The Baloch Liberation Army is a militant organization based in Afghanistan and is listed as a terrorist organization by Pakistan, United Kingdom and the United States. It has been fighting for the liberation of Balochistan where enforced disappearances of Baloch people have been taking place over the years. Several Baloch activists are in self-imposed exile in European nations and America. Earlier media reports in Pakistan, suggested that 4 terrorists had entered the stock exchange building and were firing from inside the building. All four of them have been eliminated. The areas near the Pakistan Stock Exchange building have been sealed and security has been beefed up. The attack took place around 10:35 to 10:40 am on Monday. Details about employees and civilians is being gathered. Toyota Corolla seized:  The attackers pulled up in a silver Toyota Corolla car and started firing at the stock exchange building in Karachi.
