Here's What PM Modi Said To The Nurse Who Gave Him Covid Vaccine Shot

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the first Covid 19 vaccination shot today after which he chit-chatted with the nurse who administered the vaccine on him. Nurse P. Niveda told the media what he said. Talking to DD News she said "Sir (PM Modi) has been administered the first dose of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, the second dose will be given in 28 days. He asked us where do we belong to & after vaccination he said, "Laga bhi di, pata hi nahi chala"
According to media reports, nurses from Kerala and Puducherry Rosamma Anil and P Niveda were the ones who administered the shot and AIIMS hospital in the national capital, New Delhi. Prime Minister wore a gamcha or scarf from Assam. He was administered Bharat Biotech's COVAXIN.

After receiving the vaccine, Prime Minister Modi took Twitter and tweeted “Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free!” with a picture of him receiving the shot.
After taking the jab PM Modi was under the doctor's supervision for 35 minutes and left for his residence at 7 am for 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
PM Modi took the homegrown COVAXIN shot amid the controversy that it was cleared for use even while it was still in its trial stages.
