The supercar-shamer is known to be ridiculously quick around a track, yet usable on a daily basis. What's on offer? Let's take a look!

The Looks

Nissan launches GT-R at Rs 1.99 crore The GT-R is science's favourite child. The chiselled bodywork was meticulously worked upon in a wind tunnel, to ensure it cuts through air like a hot knife through butter. The proportions and the underlying design of the GT-R have remain unchanged over nearly a decade. But, updates to the 2017 version include a set of new bumpers at either end, the family 'V-Motion' grille, and a set of new wheels.

The Cabin

Nissan GT-R Nissan's mantra here was 'declutter'. A large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage, that gets the usual goodies like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The number of buttons on the dashboard have been reduced as well, because Nissan believes you should spend your time inside the GT-R driving and not fiddling with buttons. In case you were wondering, the GT-R is classified as a four-seater! Nissan GT-R

The Powerhouse

Nissan launches GT-R at Rs 1.99 crore It isn't classified as just another four-seater, though. The GT-R is the fastest four-seater in production. 0-100kmph takes around 3 seconds, which puts it on par with the big boys from the west, such as the Lamborghini Aventador and the Porsche 911 Turbo S. The twin-turbo 3.8-litre V6 engine puts out 570PS of power, which is channelled to all four wheels via Nissan's legendary ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive tech.
