J&K: Forces Recover Huge Quantities Of Ammunition During Search In Ganderbal

Jammu-Kashmir: Security forces recovered a huge cache of ammunition during a search operation in Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district today.
A police official said that police and Army’s 24 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in Ganderbal district and recovered a cache of ammunition.
The operation was based Upon a reliable information about presence of some suspicious objects in the forests, a CASO was started in the Shajinar Gutlibagh.
During searches in the thick woods below ammunition was found lodged in a cavity beneath a rock and was recovered from the spot.
Among the recoveries are one Chinese pistol magazine, 11 magazines of AK-47 rifle, six rounds of pistol, 597 bullets of AK-47 rifle and two UBGL rounds, he said.
Following this, case FIR no. 91 of 2021 U/S 7/25 / IA Act has been registered in PS Ganderbal and investigation taken up.
