The report cited the attack on the morning of January 26 at the Satprakashan Sanchar Kendra Christian centre in the city of Indore.
As per the report, a mob of saffron-clad people barged inside shouting Hindu nationalist chants. Pastors were punched in the head, women were thrown to the ground, sending scared children scurrying beneath their seats, the report said.
Apart from this, some unnamed miscreants vandalised the statue of Jesus Christ at Holy Redeemer Church in Haryana's Ambala district.
Two people were seen entering the church late at night, according to police officials. The police believe the incident was carried out with the intent of inflicting religious resentment.
According to Father Anthony of the church, two youths entered the church late at night by climbing the wall and broke the statue of Jesus Christ.
