Not only Musk, but his grandparents had also visited the Taj Mahal, it appears. Responding to Elon Musk's tweet, his mother Maye Musk shared an interesting anedote about the billionaire’s grandparents who she said flew to the Taj Mahal on their way to Australia from South Africa in 1954. She said Musk’s grandparents, Joshua Haldeman and Wyn Haldeman, were the only people to complete such a trip in a single-engine propeller plane, without a radio or GPS.
Maye Musk shared pictures that show her mother Wyn posing in front of the iconic Taj Mahal, and father Joshua standing in front of a single-engine propeller plane.

While the fort officially called the Red Fort is located in Old Delhi, the famous Agra Fort is also known as 'Laal Qila' because of its similar red walls. The fort was identified as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1983. It was designed and built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the year 1565 AD. Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz, was also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site the same year.
Musk's message, meanwhile, left Twiteratti speculating whether Musk is looking to visit India in near future. One of the users from India responded to Musk's tweet, asking: "Any plans to visit India soon?"

Indian people would love to see you in person
Another user, Ajith Shan, tweeted: "Any near time plan to visit India again? Let's make an itinerary for his next visit in this tread...haha."
One of the user joked: "Now please do not think of buying it."
Elon Musk, who has recently announced acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion, had in the past asked India to reduce import duties to sell Tesla electric cars. However, the government insisted on local manufacturing.
Earlier, Adar Poonawalla, the CEO of Serum Institute of India, asked Musk to invest in India for high-quality, large-scale manufacturing of electric cars.
Taking to Twitter, Adar Poonawalla told Elon Musk to invest in India if he ended up not buying Twitter. In the tweet, he assured Musk that it would be the best investment the richest person in the world would ever make.
