'Why Is There Restlessness In Govt?': BJP After Sacked Rajasthan Minister Mentions 'Red Diary' On Scams

Rajendra Gudha stated that the red diary he planned to bring before the assembly on Monday contained information about suspected improper financial activities by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

After sacked Rajasthan Minister & Congress leader Rajendra Gudha mentioned a 'red diary' detailing alleged financial activities by CM, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Monday questioned Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot about the diary and asked: "Why is there restlessness in the government over it?" news agency ANI reported.

Speaking with the media, BJP leader Gajendra Singh Shekhawat stated: "Rajendra Singh Gudha who was sacked as a state minister for speaking the truth about rising crimes against women in Rajasthan brought a 'red diary' in Vidhan Sabha. We want to ask why CM Ashok Gehlot and state government is so worried about that red diary?" PTI reported.

Earlier today, Rajendra Gudha stated that the red diary he planned to bring before the assembly on Monday contained information about suspected improper financial activities by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

He said that he "secured" the diary from the home of Congress politician Dharmendra Rathore during an income tax raid on the chief minister's orders.

Gudha further stated that there is no distinction between "rapists" and Congress MLAs. He said that similar to mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, Congress MLAs conduct their illegal operations from within the House.

The Udaipurwati MLA stated that he intended to make a remark about the diaries in the House but was denied permission by the Speaker.

He said that Congress ministers and MLAs seized him, kicked him, and stole the diary from him. He said that they pulled him out of the House.

However, he stated that parts of the journal was still with him and that he would divulge the "secrets" it contained.

Speaking about the "secrets" in the diary, he stated: “The diary is written by Dharmendra Rathore. It has the name of Ashok Gehlot and his son. It has details of financial transactions, the money given to MLAs. The money was Rs 2-5 crore, not in lakhs."
