Who Benefited Most From Pulwama Attack, Asks Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi took to twitter and asked who benefited the most from the attack and what is the outcome of the inquiry into it. Gandhi asked who in the BJP government had been held accountable for the security lapses that allowed the attack.

New Delhi: As India pay tribute today to the 40 CRPF jawans who lost their lives in Pulwama terror attack last year, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in a tweet, raised three questions as he launched an attack on the Narendra Modi-led BJP government. Rahul Gandhi took to twitter and asked who benefited the most from the attack and what is the outcome of the inquiry into it. Gandhi asked who in the BJP government had been held accountable for the security lapses that allowed the attack. "Today as we remember our 40 CRPF martyrs in the #PulwamaAttack, let us ask: 1. Who benefitted the most from the attack? 2. What is the outcome of the inquiry into the attack? 3. Who in the BJP Govt has yet been held accountable for the security lapses that allowed the attack?" he asked on Twitter. The soil collected by Maharashtra's Umesh Gopinath Jadhav from the houses and cremation grounds of the 40 CRPF jawans who lost their lives in 2019 Pulwama Attack, was placed at the memorial at CRPF's Lethpora camp. Umesh Gopinath Jadhav, from Maharashtra, was invited as the special guest at the wreath-laying ceremony at CRPF campus in Kashmir's Lethpora to mark a year of Pulwama Attack today. He took a 61000 km long journey across India to meet families of the 40 jawans who lost their lives in attack. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah today honoured the soldiers who died in the Pulwama terror attack exactly one year ago. "Tributes to the brave martyrs who lost their lives in the gruesome Pulwama attack last year. They were exceptional individuals who devoted their lives to serving and protecting our nation. India will never forget their martyrdom," PM Modi tweeted. On February 14 last year, Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber Adeel Ahmed Dar drove an explosive-laden car into a convoy of security forces, killing 40 personnel.
