New Delhi: After rainfall and snowfall in parts of North India, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday said that for the next 5-6 days cold wave in North West India is an “unlikely" phenomenon.
"Due to fresh western disturbance, there will be light to moderate snowfall in the western Himalayan region. Because of this, there will be 2-3°C rise in temperature in 48 hours in North-west India. For next 5-6 days, there is unlikely any coldwave," an IMD Scientist Dr. Naresh told the news agency ANI.
