The Valley witnessed heavy snowfall on the upper reaches and at the tourist resorts of Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam, northern and southern parts of Kashmir this week. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will receive heavy rainfall and snow on Saturday as the western disturbance is very active in that region, according to IMD.
