WATCH: AAP's Saurabh Bhardwaj demonstrates how EVMs can be tampered via secret codes
New Delhi: AAP's Saurabh Bhardwaj, MLA from Greater Kailash constituency in the Delhi State Legislature, on Tuesday demonstrated that EVMs can be tampered by making changes in secret codes.
He showed that suppose there are five parties fighting election-AAP, BSP, BJP, INC and SP. If the voting starts at 8 am and suppose that 10 voters cast votes to five parties-two votes each, said Bhardwaj.
"Now it's 10 am and the voting gains momentum," added Bhardwaj.
"Now, a BJP worker comes inside as a voter around 10 am...On the day of voting itself, you can decide whom to make the winner. There are secret codes of every political party. Like AAP has code 123412. And if you want AAP to be the winner, you will put this code inside the EVM (watch video below) and from there after every vote cast will go to BJP".
