Was Tortured A Lot In Jail, Will Apprise PM Modi Of My Experience, Says Sanjay Raut | EXCLUSIVE

Sanjay Raut Exclusive: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) MP Raut said that law is being misused in the country.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Sanjay Raut has said that he was tortured in jail, and he would soon meet Prime Minister Modi to apprise him of his experience. “I was tortured in jail. I will soon meet the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Deputy CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis to apprise them of my experience and to make them aware of the actions taken against me,” he told ABP News.

Talking about his arrest in the Patra Chawl land scam case, Raut said, “I was arrested illegally. I have no connection with the Patra Chawl case. I welcome court’s decision.” He said, “I was not at fault, I was only put in jail because it was being planned to topple the Maharashtra government.”

He added that a joint parliamentary committee or a panel headed by former CJI UU Lalit should investigate the arrests made by the central agencies in recent years due to political differences. “A joint parliamentary committee, or a panel, headed by former Chief Justice of India UU Lalit, should be set up to probe the arrests made by the central agencies in recent years.”

Sanjay Raut, who recently walked out of jail in the Patra Chawl scam case, said that the opposition will raise this issue in the winter session of the parliament.
