As the tractor rally of farmers deviated from the pre-decided route, visuals of chaos were seen by citizens across the nation. In a new video, the violent clash between protestors and police can be seen. Both sides blow lathis at each other but after a point, the security personnel seems to be getting overpowered by the protesters around.

Visuals show a few officials falling off, a few running out of the gate to protect themselves as the mob gains more power over them.

While Republic day 2021 was expected to be unprecedented because of Covid-19 induced muted celebrations, what came as an unexpected blow was how the farmers' tractor rally and gathering at several places went astray. Certain batches managed to reach the ITO area and Red fort.

In a much-debated instance, a yellow "Nirankar" flag was hoisted at the Red Fort by protestors making the day unprecedented for all the wrong reasons.

As agencies feared notorious elements to cause more damage amid the chaos, Home Ministry issued an order to deploy additional paramilitary troops at sensitive areas. Punjab and Haryana were also put on high alert.

While several farmers' leaders and supporters of their movement have condemned the violence, police are proceeding with their probe into the damages caused and holding miscreants accountable.
