Video portrays Harish Rawat as 'Baahubali'; Uttarakhand CM says Congress hasn't released it
New Delhi: Distancing him from a morphed video that depicts him as ‘Baahubali’ -the Saviour of Uttarakhand, CM Harish Rawat on Thursday said that the video has not been released by the Congress party but must have been uploaded by a well-wisher of his.
In the viral video, BJP leaders are also shown in the background whose faces have been morphed. It includes PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Vijay Bahuguna – who has recently joined BJP.
Speaking to ABP News over the viral video, Rawat said, “Social media is very active. People on the internet interpret a lot of things and upload. I am a weak and a poor man doing my work with honesty. I am a servant of Uttarakhand.”
Slamming the Union Budget of the Centre, Rawat said, “Budget is cover up for the corporate sector. Only some people are benefitting out of it. There is no impetus on growth. I fee growth will slow down.”
BJP leader Anil Baloni trashed the video saying how can a corrupt man be featured as a ‘Baahubali’, “Harish Rawat has not given his government’s report card so far. How can he be ‘Baahubali’. He is only involved in corruption and people of the state know the truth.”
