Uttar Pradesh: Now Mughalsarai station being painted saffron

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit the city along with BJP president Amit Shah on August 5.

New Delhi: The Mughalsarai railway station in Uttar Pradesh, which was recently renamed as Deendayal Upadhyay junction is now being painted in saffron colour ahead of BJP President Amit Shah’s visit. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit the city along with Shah on August 5. The station is another among many public places which have been painted saffron after Yogi Government came to power. Earlier this year in Badaun, BR Amedkar’s statue was painted saffron after its repair. Later, it was restored to the blue colour. In February a police station in capital Lucknow was painted saffron. A month ago to that Haj committee office's boundary walls were coated with the same colour. Lucknow's Qaiser Bagh police station was also painted in saffron around that time.
