Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Stops Convoy To Make Way For Ambulance
DCP Traffic Subhash Chandra claimed that an ambulance and other cars were halted to enable the CM's cavalcade to pass.
New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stopped his cavalcade to make way for an ambulance near Raj Bhavan on Thursday.
According to DCP Traffic Subhash Chandra Shakya, the incident occurred near Raj Bhavan on Thursday when the Chief Minister's cavalcade was going from Hazratganj to Bandariyabagh, news agency PTI reported.
He claimed that an ambulance and other cars were halted to enable the CM's cavalcade to pass.
"As soon as he (Adityanath) saw that an ambulance was stopped to facilitate the movement of his cavalcade, he asked his security men to stop on the roadside and allow the ambulance to go," an official was quoted by PTI in its report.
Bhaskar Singh, a resident of the Madiaon area of Lucknow, who was riding a motorcycle and stopped there, said, "It was a good humanitarian gesture on the part of CM Yogi. All people waiting for the cavalcade to pass were seen praising him."
Last week, Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the second consecutive time in a jam-packed Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
On Thursday, Adityanath directed all the service selection boards to provide government jobs to more than 10,000 youths of the state in the next 100 days.
"The state government is committed to provide government jobs to the youth. The government has given instructions to all the service selection boards to provide government jobs to more than 10,000 youths of the state in the next 100 days," Yogi Adityanath said in a tweet.
Yogi Adityanath issued the directive at a meeting with the chairpersons of selection boards. The CM asked them to expedite the recruitment process and clear the backlog.
